The Living labs

I founded the Living Labs along with two highly talented designers as part of KPMG’s innovation practice in 2019. The Living Labs enable the firm and its clients to explore emerging technologies and disruptive business models through experimentation and prototyping in order to rehearse potential futures and accelerate their arrival.

Below are a few of the “reels” we use to both prototype solutions and market our skills to internal and external clients and innovation partners.

This reel shows the various skillsets of the Living Labs team. I assembled the  designers, developers, and multimedia talents one would expect, but also included anthologists, museum curators and data scientists.

The footage here is compiled from several experimental engagements: Streamlining inventory management, leveraging IoT for venue management and finally exploring the implications of urban monitoring and public spaces management.

“The Vaccine shot” was developed to showcase the firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences capabilities around distribution and patient engagement. It was used to catalyze client conversations and identify potential challenges.

This video celebrates the our partnership with mHUB, the nation’s largest hard tech innovation center. Partners like mHUB have been vital to our program’s success, lending hardware and talent not typically available to a firm like KPMG.
