Building Community

In addition to doing the work, I love talking shop, collaborating with others and sharing what I’ve seen. I’ve been extremely fortunate to follow those passions through my role in co-founding the UX Speakeasy, teaching Human Centered Design and Design Thinking at the NewSchool of Architecture & Design and for establishing the teams and their methods across numerous industries.

Bringing it home

We founded the UX Speakeasy in order to support our homegrown UX talent and to advocate for the value of design amongst our local industry leaders and grow the reputation of San Diego as an innovation leader.

Evolving the craft

Working in design and innovation has allowed me to explore a wide range of related disciplines. I am constantly looking to move the field forward by generating new approaches through the combination of the many methodologies I’ve studied and experimented with. I’m an active part of the San Diego design community, both as fan, educator and explorer. I’ve created curriculum for both academic and team leadership purposes, spoken at conventions and participated in marketing and analyst relations initiatives.
